ODJFS Requirements for Supplemental Food Assistance
Understanding Eligibility for Food Assistance

A food pantry serves as a critical resource, distributing perishable and/or shelf-stable food and other products directly to those in need. At the Brookside Hunger Center, we adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) to ensure support is available to those who need it most. If your household income is below 200% of the federal poverty line, you are eligible to receive food assistance from our center.

For the most current ODJFS Household Eligibility guidelines, please refer to JFS 04224 (Rev. 7/2023).
